Tourists looking for a great escape also need to catch up on their rest. A long layover causes exhaustion, but officials at the Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali offered a solution to travelers.
With the G20 Summit taking place in Bali later this month, airport officials announced the opening of a new capsule hotel. The PassGO-Digital Airport Hotel offers 132 modern pods with air conditioning, wood-style interiors, small televisions, luggage storage, high-speed WiFi and two USB ports for charging devices.
Each pod has a color-adjustable light bulb, reading lights and headphones. The hotel offers showering facilities and private lockers.
A co-working space within the hotel provides an ideal spot for digital nomads to check in with their employers or complete freelance tasks. It holds up to 20 people.
The new hotel aims to boost tourism. Much of Bali’s economy depends on a constant stream of tourists.

The hotel’s director understands that most travelers have to do some work even while on vacation. These facilities allow a traveler to rest, clean up, get some work done and move along to the next part of their journey feeling well-rested, fresh and productive.
Their transit packages include a minimum six-hour stay. The hotel also offers overnight stays for enhanced flexibility.
While Bali hosts throngs of tourists during the busy season, people who want to get away from the crowds could consider a visit to Pura Tanah Lot, an ancient temple. Beautiful Mount Batur provides incredible views and a place to fully immerse in nature.
