Croatia to reopen without quarantine to fully vaccinated tourists this summer

Croatia is open to E.U. members, people visiting for urgent family reasons or business, and a few other countries including the U.S. Tourism is permitted but only to people who fall under these categories.

All arrivals must bring a negative COVID-19 test, and quarantine at a government-approved facility if deemed necessary to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Croatia travel restrictions for non-EU visitors

June 2 – Croatia expects to reopen without quarantine to more fully vaccinated international visitors this summer.

Croatia has reopened to fully vaccinated travelers from the E.U., U.S., and other third party countries depending on their epidemiology situation. These travelers must also submit a negative approved COVID-19 test, or a certificate confirming having recovered from COVID-19 within the past six months.

However, not all travelers are allowed and not the whole country is open for tourism.

Aiming to attract more international visitors, Tourism Minister Nikolina Brnjac has announced the government will be installing several PCR testing stations for international travelers to get a COVID-19 test so they can return to their home countries.
