Delta Air Lines will resume service between Detroit and Frankfurt on April 12 after a suspension of over 25 months due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Delta will connect the two cities on five weekly flights, offering 892 seats per week on each segment. The flights will be operated with Airbus A330-200 with a capacity to seat 223 passengers.
Beginning May 2, the airline will boost its flying frequency to once per day.
Delta will operate the route according to the following timetable:

Delta Air Lines has also announced its expansion plans to Europe this summer.
The route from Detroit to Frankfurt is one of Delta’s several connections during the summer season.
The airline will offer up to 27 daily flights to 20 European destinations from JFK, including the resumption of flights to Zurich, Brussels, Edinburgh, Copenhagen and Prague that were also halted because of the pandemic.
In addition, Delta will offer up to 17 daily flights from Atlanta to 14 transatlantic destinations, including an increase in three-times-daily service to Amsterdam and twice-daily service to London and Rome.
On the West Coast, the airline will connect its Seattle hub with twice-daily flights to Amsterdam and once-daily flights to London and Paris. There will also be a daily flight from Portland to Amsterdam.
