Foodies Will Love These 7 Dinning Options At This Bali Resort

Because of its seven* distinct dining options, Hotel Indigo has it all: coffee, pastries, Indonesian food, American-style barbecue, grilled seafood, handcrafted sweets, and literally anything else. Here’s a breakdown of what’s on the menu to give you a sense of what to anticipate.

Kiosk

Order a light snack and sip your way through the restaurant’s extensive drinks menu. Try the Sailor Man with spiced rum and coconut syrup, or the lemongrass-infused gin and tonic, or, if you prefer mocktails, the kiwi splash or berry mint splash.

Tree Bar

Each of its concoctions was created in partnership with an experienced arak bali producer and uses fruits, herbs, and spices found locally. The end product is fragrant and one-of-a-kind blends with a distinct Bali flavor. Customers who like sweeter beverages will enjoy the tropical Laklak Swizzle, while the Arak Highball and Kelapa Old Fashioned are exciting new takes on classics.

Makase

Conveniently located on the resort’s ground level, is an on-site reproduction of your friendly local Balinese cafe. It’s essentially an open kitchen using the best locally obtained products blended with traditional Indonesian techniques to recreate popular street delicacies and dishes found in any local home, as well as a few Western classics.

Pottery Cafe

Customers can purchase fresh coffee beans or relax with a cup of single brew, one of the distinctive iced coffee blends or a special tea blend. They can also sign up to participate in a weekly coffee roast and take home a personalized ceramic figurine as gifts.

Cave Pool Bar

Fresh fruit smoothies, scrumptious cocktails (including sharing pitchers), and a choice of finger snacks and sweets, including freshly rolled ice creams, are available at its pool bar.

“Home” delivery

For true Balinese flair, have your dinner delivered to your room in a rantang (also known as a Balinese stacked tiffin). The “Rantang Experience” allows you to choose a main dish and a side dish, served with steamed rice and Balinese spices. Alternatively, there are a variety of different dishes on the rest of the “home” delivery menu, so whether you fancy a rib eye, nasi goreng or a BLT, Hotel Indigo has it all for you.

SugarSand

SugarSand, located right on Seminyak beach, is designed for gourmet dining with a view. Western cuisine includes your favorite cut of imported Australian beef grilled over local coffee and lychee wood, grilled meats and fish, a variety of freshly baked flatbreads, stir-fried delicacies, and Bali-inspired desserts.

*Salon Bali is the eighth option but it’s currently closed.
