Frontier Airlines Launches An Unlimited Pass For Summer — What to Know

Frontier Airlines has introduced an unlimited pass that enables passengers to fly as often as they like wherever the company operates, during the summer.

According to Frontier, the all-you-can-fly GoWild! Summer Pass allows customers unlimited flights throughout Frontier’s domestic and international networks from May 2 to September 30. The pass will initially cost $399 per person.

“Everyone loves summer vacation and, with the new GoWild! Summer Pass, you can enjoy even more of what you love,” Daniel Shurz, the senior vice president of commercial at Frontier Airlines, said in a statement. “For people with flexible schedules, this is a terrific opportunity to have a truly epic summer and then some, soaking up rays on the beach, exploring national parks and visiting new cities.”

To use the pass, travelers must log into their Frontier Miles account and search for and book a flight one day before for domestic flights or up to 10 days in advance for international destinations. After that, travelers must pay 1 cent for each flight, plus all applicable taxes, fees and charges.

The cost of the pass does not include extras such as baggage or seat selection; these can be purchased separately. The weight limit for checked baggage on Frontier flights was lowered last year to a maximum of 40 pounds.

No miles or status points can be earned on flights booked with the pass. There are also a number of blackout dates, including weekends around Memorial Day and the Fourth of July.

Unless the pass holder cancels it, the pass will renew automatically for the summer travel season.

Frontier has two types of seats: standard and Stretch, which provides greater legroom, and flies to more than 90 destinations around the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America.
