When we arrived unfortunately the pool had a leak and was out of action for a few days and only a small pool available. But this wasn’t a major problem as the sea was beautiful to swim in and only a few steps away from the pool. Breakfast was your standard buffet, lots to choose from, so great. Dinners were great, rather busy but it was school hols so to be expected, prices were similar to what you would pay in Australia so certainly more than I had expected even in local restaurants!

Shangri-La Yanuca Island, Fiji features an on-site fitness center and a children’s playground. Set on a 109-acre island, the resort offers direct access to a 9-hole golf course. Relaxing treatments can be enjoyed at at the unique Chi The Spa Village, a spa and wellness center in a secluded setting away from the main resort location. Each spacious air conditioned room features a TV and a bathroom with bathrobes, slipper and guest toiletries including a toothbrush and toothpaste. Free private parking is included. Chinese tea is provided in the rooms. Among the many activities on offer are snorkeling, canoeing, fishing and diving. The resort is a 45-minute drive from Nadi International Airport. The Ocean Wing and Golden Cowrie renovations are on track to be completed by 5 November 2023. Upon completion of the Golden Cowrie renovation, Beach Bar & Grill will be closed for renovations from 11 November 2023 to 11 December 2023. During this period Beach Bar & Grill will be moved to Golden Cowrie Restaurant.
