I loved the amenities such as the multiple showers and the pool and poolside bar. All the staff are so friendly and a big shoutout to Felipe at reception who welcomed us at 6 in the morning and gave us a warm welcome and tour of the hostel! There are multiple dorms and smaller rooms for more privacy and there’s a kitchen for you to do your cooking. This hostel also offers free salsa classes almost every day of the week and even yoga classes and other activities. VIAJERO is a great place to meet people and also relax and soak some sun by the pool or in their hammock area.

It’s a good place to meet people that are also into dancing Salsa! There are private classes in the hostel, and big groups of people go out to salsa clubs in the evening. The pool is chill. I had the most amazing time because I met really nice people and we spend the whole week together.

I loved the hostel as a good base for Cali and especially because of all the salsa going on! I took dance classes with Natalia a teacher from the Melao foundation and I loved my experience with her. She was an amazing teacher, so kind and gentle and taught me salsa skills super clearly! I wish I took even more with her. Also the receptionist Gisela was super helpful and helped me find my passport which was so kind! Amazing place xx

I enjoyed the most, my private salsa lessons with Vanessa, my instructor. Vanessa is an AWESOME instructor. I had 12 private lessons with Vanessa and now I have confidence to salsa basic steps, lead with turns, spins and cha cha cha. I am very pleased with my results. All thanks to Vanessa’s lessons. I will definitely come back to Viajero Hostel and take more lessons with Vanessa.
