The airline will fly to and from Nice three times a week. To celebrate its comeback, it will offer round-trip prices starting as low as $2,000 per person.
Passengers must purchase their tickets by May 15 on La Compagnie’s website, by phone at 1-800-218-8187, or with a travel agent.
The flights will depart from Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey and arrive at Nice Côte d’Azur Airport.
A comprehensive array of amenities will allow passengers to relax and unwind on board. The planes have 76 lie-flat beds and a healthy meal featuring seasonal dishes.
Guests who want to stay connected can enjoy the complimentary Wi-Fi, while those who want to watch a movie can do so at La Compagnie’s impressive entertainment center.
“This year, with restrictions being lifted both in France and the United States, as well as the development efforts our collaborators have contributed, we’re already seeing great enthusiasm and demand for this route and this vibrant city,” Christian Vernet, La Compagnie’s president, said in a statement as per T+L.
“The desire to travel remains and our high-end product, modern and with an appealing price tag, is really attracting travelers right now,” he added.
This news comes just weeks after La Compagnie announced plans to launch service between Newark and Milan (MXP), with round-trip fares starting at $2,200.
Founded in 2014, the airline’s entire fleet consists of narrow-body Airbus A321neo aircraft. And with fares generally lower than its competitors, it offers travelers an affordable way to travel across the Atlantic with style.
