New Data Reveals Top Remote Work Companies For Women

In the United States and other areas around the world, working from home has become a necessity for many women and a desire for many more. Since 2020 in the U.S. alone, more than one million women chose to leave the workforce for a wide range of reasons.

The COVID-19 pandemic proved that most societies continue to promote the idea that women can and should set aside their careers to take on caring and nurturing roles at home. Women have also realized that they want less stress and more flexibility in their lives, which means they refuse to return to long commutes and on-site shifts and work days.

Fairygodboss, one of the largest global communities for female professionals online, recently gathered anonymous reviews to determine the best remote companies for women based on a variety of factors, including general equality, referrals to specific employers and job satisfaction. It’s one of the most comprehensive lists available to date of top employers that offer high-quality, remote jobs for women.

The top five companies in the list are Power Home Remodeling Group, LLC (Chester, Pennsylvania – Score 97.9), Delta Dental Insurance (San Francisco, California – Score 97.2), Luxoft Holding, Inc. (Zug, Switzerland – Score 97.1), Elastic (Mountain View, California – Score 96.7) and Navy Federal Credit Union (Vienna, Virginia – Score 96.5). Except for Luxoft, all companies have headquarters within the U.S. with the top and bottom of the five splits between the Mid-Atlantic and West Coast.
