The tourism industry in the Mexican Caribbean is currently experiencing a significant surge, from the bustling shores of Cancun to the trendy destination of Tulum. This region is now preparing to introduce yet another addition to its resort offerings, with a brand-new all-inclusive resort from the rapidly expanding Hyatt.
According to Caribbean Journal, Hyatt will open its newest Secrets resort in the Caribbean next month.
On October 12, 2023, the brand-new Secrets Tulum Resort and Beach Club will open its doors to tourists around the world.
The newly designed resort, featuring a striking architectural concept, will comprise 300 suites and one luxurious villa nestled amidst the captivating mangroves of Tulum, along the picturesque Caribbean coastline of Mexico.
It’s a “boho-elegant” design, with: earthy décor, extravagant cenote-inspired architecture, dedicated meditation areas and secluded pools surrounded by lush vegetation,” Hyatt said.
Although the property isn’t situated directly on the beach, it will boast its own exclusive beach club along the shores of the Caribbean Sea.
In total, there will be 15 distinct dining experiences, ranging from the Barracuda Beach Bar to the Edgewater pool bar, a rooftop swim-up bar, and a charming seafood grill named Willy’s Place.
In addition to the distinctive Secrets Spa by Pevonia, which features hydrotherapy, treatments inspired by the local culture, a sauna, a steam room, and a pair of private cabins, including one designed for couples.
Furthermore, there’s a Preferred Club option that encompasses an exclusive private club lounge and bar, daily breakfast service, and personalized check-in and check-out services, among other special amenities.
Several of the Preferred Club accommodations feature private plunge pools for guests to enjoy.
The latest Hyatt property marks the second significant opening in the Mexican Caribbean this year, coming right after the recent introduction of the Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets resort.
