US Airlines Launch New Caribbean Routes For The 2022 Summer Season Starting At $79

US carriers continue to expand their Caribbean hubs. A number of airlines have announced new routes connecting US cities to Jamaica, Guadalajara, Cancun and even Guyana. 

Starting May 5, Frontier Airlines will launch 27 new direct routes, including flights to Guadalajara and Monterrey, Mexico.

“We are thrilled to announce further growth in our international network with flights to Guadalajara (GDL) and Monterrey (MTY), Mexico from Las Vegas,” said Daniel Shurz, Senior Vice President, Commercial, Frontier Airlines.

The airline is currently offering tickets from Houston-Intercontinental (IAH) to Cancun (CUN) for as low as $79 (introductory price).

Caribbean Airlines joins the party launching a new service between Guyana and Houston beginning this month and running until the end of June.

The airline will start flying between Georgetown and Houston Intercontinental three times a week from March 22. 

Passengers will be able to connect with Caribbean Airlines’ Port of Spain hub in Trinidad and Tobago.

Frontier Airlines has also added a new year-round service between Miami and Kingston, with three weekly flights.

Meanwhile, American Airlines has introduced a new nonstop route to Jamaica.

On June 4, the carrier will launch its inaugural route from Austin, Texas to Montego Bay, Jamaica. The new flights will operate on Saturdays once a week.
