Visit Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum to see two retired USS ships. Other interesting attractions include Boone Hall Plantation, its tunnel of oak trees that appeared in many movies, and Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park which provides amazing views of the waterfront.
Kiawah Island
Prime golfing, tennis, and world-class spa resorts are the main reasons why vacationers head to Kiawah Island. And it can be enjoyed during all four seasons. However, in winter, you can expect fewer crowds as well as lower rates, which makes it great for an after-Christmas retreat.
What’s more, it offers many outdoor activities to engage in, such as biking, beachcombing, or fishing. You can also wind down in its charming downtown, which is filled with amazing cafés and restaurants.
Myrtle Beach
Myrtle Beach might be packed with tourists and holidaymakers in summertime. But in winter, it turns into a quiet paradise. Unlike other beach towns in South Carolina, most businesses remain open in Myrtle Beach. So you can soak in the atmosphere without the annoying crowds.

Charleston
Charleston is a popular winter vacation destination. And for a reason. This coastal city boasts a lot of sun all year round, and an array of splendid beaches.
