Ana Paty Peralta, Municipal President of Benito Juárez, announced that Cancun has been nominated in three categories in the 30th-anniversary of the World Travel Awards.
This nomination positions Cancun as one of the most outstanding tourist destinations in the world, thanks to its natural beauty, service, and hospitality towards national and international tourists.
The Mayor highlighted that these nominations are the result of the joint efforts of public authorities, private initiatives and collaborators from the service sector who work daily to promote the tourism industry and contribute to the preservation of the precious ecosystems that are the main attraction of the city.
In this edition, Cancún will compete in the following categories:
Leading beach destination of the world 2023.
