This Travel Website Is Offering Free Flights Every Weekday Throughout August

Every weekday in August, Going.com is giving customers free flights in celebration of its eighth anniversary.

Going.com has informed Travel + Leisure that the company, originally known as Scott’s Cheap Flights, will offer a free flight on Instagram every weekday this month. Travelers who want to participate must either sign up for a free account or already be a member of the site.

“If there’s one thing I love more than cheap flights, it’s free flights,” Founder Scott Keyes said in a statement provided to T+L. “Helping others be able to travel more than they thought possible is why I started Going in the first place, and that’s why I’m excited to be giving away dozens of free flights to celebrate our 8th birthday.”

Travelers need to search their accounts for an offer they want to book to get a free flight. Following that, they must visit Going.com’s Instagram page, “like” the post for that day, and then comment on the deal they want to book. Every day at 6am ET new free deals are posted.

The next day, Going will share the winner’s name on its Instagram stories.

Travelers have the option to participate multiple times a month as long as they make sure to submit their entry to the posting designated for that day. In addition, travelers may claim the same flight offer multiple times, provided the offer remains active on the Going.com website.

In addition to the gift, the company offers annual and multi-year membership discounts of up to 50%. Premium memberships typically start at $49 per year. For $199 per year, the airline also offers an elite membership that provides additional benefits, such as notifications of deals on domestic and international tickets in first class, business class, premium economy and economy.

Free flight alerts for foreign travel are also available on Going.com, although they usually appear a day or two after the offer is first published.
