Spirit Airlines is selling half-price tickets until tonight. The offer is available for flights between January 29 and April 13, and it is only available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.
Those looking for a short vacay can get the offer by using the promo code “50PCT” today until 11:59 p.m. EST.
Passengers must be aware of some “extra” charges that the airline cannot avoid.
Thus, the 50% off discount does not apply to the “Passenger Usage Charge (up to $22.99 per segment), Regulatory Compliance Charge (up to $7.00 per segment) or Fuel Charge (up to $12.00 per segment), all of which are included in the ‘Base Fare’.”
The offer will be applied to the leftover amount after the “Base Fare” and “Fuel” have been deducted (where applicable).
According to the airline, the discount only applies to itineraries and the “flight portion of a vacation package.”
