Those who are fully vaccinated are not required to be tested if they take a cruise of five nights or fewer. Exceptions are cruises with ports of call in Bermuda and Canada and longer cruises.
Unvaccinated children no longer need to be retested at embarkation, but they still need to present the first negative test taken prior to departure.
Virgin Voyages
Virgin Voyages eliminated the requirement for pre-embarkation testing on July 24 for European Union departures and July 27 for departures from the United States.
Travelers now only need to provide confirmation that they are fully vaccinated before boarding. However, the cruise line does not require it: it now allows ten percent of all guests on each cruise to be unvaccinated.
Unvaccinated passengers must get tested before or during their trip.
Carnival Corporation & plc
On August 4, Carnival Cruise Line changed its regulations. Guests who are fully vaccinated and traveling on a cruise for five nights or less no longer need to test prior to embarkation.

Upon embarkation, these passengers must present a recent negative COVID -19 test.
Holland America Line’s North American itineraries currently require travelers aged 12 and above to be fully vaccinated, with all guests 2 and up needing to provide a recent negative COVID-19 result upon embarkation.
