This Latin Country Has The 2nd Best Digital Nomad Visa In The World

According to a recent ranking, Argentina has the second-best digital nomad visa policy worldwide and the best in both North and South America.

Argentina’s digital nomad policy is the second most advantageous in the world for people who want to work abroad, according to the recently released VisaGuide.World Digital Nomad Index. To arrive at these results, the index took into account a number of factors, including living expenses, internet speed, required taxes, minimum income, and health score.

According to VisaGuide.World, the ranking highlights the popularity of Argentina’s Digital Nomad Visa, which was first made available to nomads on May 21, 2022. One reason for this popularity is that the visa allows nomads to live entirely tax-free for the duration of their stay in the nation.

Lum Kamishi, project manager at VisaGuide.World, notes that in the 1.5 years since the government introduced this visa, Argentina has proven its intention to use it by luring nomads with a variety of extremely enticing offers.

“Unlike some other countries, Argentina has taken seriously the capacity that a Digital Nomad Visa can have in boosting the economy. It has no tax policy for the entire stay, and its relatively low minimum income required, extra low living costs, and a high health score compared to other countries in this index, make Argentina extremely alluring and convenient for every Digital Nomad.” said Lum Kamishi, Project Manager at VisaGuide.World

He claims that two more factors that drive up the demand for this visa are Argentina’s popularity among tourists and its fast internet.

While there are Digital Nomad Visas available in four other South American countries, none of them are as desirable as Argentina. These nations are Uruguay, Ecuador, Brazil, and Colombia, in order of ranking.

Spain is another Hispanic nation that holds the top spot. The latter has become the most practical option for digital nomads looking to work overseas. Argentina is ranked number two, followed by Romania, the United Arab Emirates, Croatia, and the United States.
